RJS was established in June of 1997 and was created standing on the shoulders of HK Bella (founded in 1990). HK Bella was the first company to introduce Victorian cutwork and lace embroidery bedding ensembles in the Canadian market. RJS has since shifted its focus from the traditional Victorian cutwork and lace embroidery to fashion bedding with emphasis on contemporary embroidery and style forward designs.
